Brendan LOVES to be outside! He goes ballistic when we bring him in . . . which has been tough this summer because it hasn't really been that nice. He is now living on a diet consisting of dirt, dirt and more dirt. Oh and rocks! Besides chewing up the earth he loves playing with balls, sliding down the slide, and swinging. He is also getting pretty great at the tee, the other night I noticed it was really quiet outside and went to see what he was up to and here is what I found.
He's talking a lot more and although only immediate family members can interpret him, he has words for kitty (ditty), dog (ga), nLight-night (ni-ni), balloon (bwww-see video), hello (ah-lo), that (dat), and of course ball! He can sign please and thank you and uses them appropriately. Lately it's been please can I have an m&m? and thank you for the m&m and please can I have an m&m? and thank you for the m&m . . . .an on and on. . .well, until he has 3 m&m's usually. That's where I draw the totally arbitrary line :)
What a fun little personality he has and it's such a joy to watch him grow into a little boy. I should blog everyday with how fast he's changing. But for now I'll just have to try and remember to post a little more frequently than once every 2 months :)
