Summertime

So we're already into July already which means that the summer is quickly passing us by . . . crazy. . .I wish it was like when we were in school and the summer seemed so long and lazy :) Now we're just trying to fit everything in that we want to do before school starts up again.

We've had a pretty great summer so far. Darby has been doing the MSU Bobcat Sports Camp which was for 3 weeks every afternoon. She had a lot of fun! She said her favorite sport was the high jump or javelin in track. . . oh and Star Wars Dodgeball. . .maybe it will be an olympic sport by the time she's old enough to play :) Both Darby and Trevor participated in the vacation bible school again this year and had a lot of fun. Now we'll spend a few weeks having to watch our mouths and not taking the lord's name in vain. Trev said "god is in the clouds and when there are no clouds he is in us."

We will start up swim lessons on Monday for a couple of weeks at the Hot Springs and I am looking forward to soaking in the pools with Brendan. . . aahhhhh!

The big news around here is that we bought a pop-up trailer! I'm VERY excited! We've kind of been on the lookout for awhile but when we decided to do it, we actually found a great one! It will fit our whole family for a long long time or until the kids no longer want to sleep in the same place as mom and dad. We christened it up at Hyalite last weekend and had an amazing time with our friends. The kids were so jazzed about the camper that they wanted to spend all their time in there. Darby and her friends spent hours playing Uno in there. I'm looking forward to getting it all decked out for a couple more camping trips this summer! Here are some pictures from our weekend.
