Before I pass out

I thought I would post a quick update as my mom reminded me (who is in Switzerland) I have not done in a while. Anyways, things are good and busy with us as I knew the month of January would be, but thankfully the end is in sight . . .for so many things :)

I have been teaching two mornings a week for the last 3 weeks and have one more to go! But I'm getting it all out of the way so I hopefully don't have to worry about it for the rest of this semester. We are also really busy with other classes, Kindermusik, swim lessons and ski lessons. . .it seems to sap all my energy but is really fun too!

Darby is loving the ski lessons and has improved by leaps and bounds! Trevor too, is even going on the longer, steeper runs, with dad to slow him down of course. I'm just hanging out as the paparazzi and to watch Trevor while Darby and dad enjoy the hill for the afternoon. You won't catch me trying to fit my feet into ski boots right now. . .I can barely put on regular shoes that tie, let alone the torturous footwear required to go skiing.

We are quickly approaching the arrival of the new baby and Erich and I are getting pretty excited. About a week ago, I had what I call the "fear phase" of the pregnancy, the realization that I'm going to have to birth this baby! I'm on the train and can't get off until baby pumpkin head is resting quietly (of course) in my arms :) But I got over that pretty quick. My midwife and friend (who is a doula) have been great sources of comfort and I know that if all goes according to planned it will be a relaxing and soothing homebirth experience. Darby is even looking forward to being a part of the birth, that is if Erich can handle it :) He wants the kids gone but I'm thinking, what a great experience for them to get to meet their brother at his first breath?

Anyways, once I'm done teaching I will finally get to nest and make my baby blankets, prepare the clothes and our room/bed for a new little one and then I might even get to post a little more. Sorry about the no pictures, I will try to get some more up soon! Now I'm off to bed!
