What is trying?

So I mentioned that we talked about trying new things this week at school . . .well, everytime the kids would try something at school we would get excited over every try, like when we tried a ring toss game and the kids didn't make it. Well today we were playing ring toss and Erich threw one out and missed, Darby said "Nice try dad!" and I looked at her and said "that was a good try" and she replied, "Yea, that's what you say when you don't do a good job!" Oh boy did we have a good laugh at that and we'll have to revamp that definition in her mind :)
