March Madness!

So we just said goodbye to Erich . . . he's headed off to the Madness of March for the first and hopefully second rounds of the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament! The Cougs are playing Winthrop tomorrow at 5:30 in Denver. Erich got a ticket to all 4 games tomorrow so he's driving half way tonight and half way tomorrow. Then he also has tickets to both the second round games on Saturday, hopefully the Cougs will be playing Notre Dame, because that's who I have in my brackets :) It was sad to see him go but I know he will have an awesome time and god knows he has direct control over whether the Cougars win or lose (or so it seems when Erich is screaming at the TV) so it will be good to have him there :)

It's hard to believe that we're coming up on Easter in a few days . . .it just sneaked right up on me. (on another side note, did you know that snuck is not considered proper past tense of sneak? It was news me). We did find time to dye Easter eggs last night with the kids and here are some pictures.

We've had a trying day here in the Hannan household, Darby woke up on the very wrong side of the bed, she has been highly sensitive to all things and screaming and yelling about things she doesn't like. I think she has had a constant pout on her face all day long. Here is a picture of her last night in her matching camo outfit that matches her monkey Kiril

And here is a picture of her today in a Cougar cheerleading dress . . .what a feat it was to get her to even try it on. It's obvious that she wasn't happy about it at, all.
Hopefully we will have a better day tomorrow because it will be a long few days if it's not. This is not an image that I want to see very much. . .
