In happier news

So even with all the emotional stuff going on we've been keeping a pretty normal schedule. Anna and Leah have been here since last Tuesday and so the kids are having a great time! Trevor's been a little sick lately so Darby has been hanging with grandma, doing some fun stuff. We all went skiing on Thursday which was really fun . . .a gorgeous day and Darby shredded it up. Erich went to Pullman this weekend to check out the Cougars win against the Huskies! He took a good friend of ours from Bozeman who is a huge Bobcat fan but has kind of adopted the Cougars as we have adopted the Cats. Erich got to show off our hometown, and I guess the game was amazing! We had the other weekend widow and her kids over for dinner and to watch the game and it was a good game. Yesterday Anna and Leah took Darby shopping for some new clothes and I think we're pretty sure that miss Darby is solidly in the tomboy category, NOT a girly girl. I love Darby and who she is, she is amazing and smart, and independent and strong willed and loving and I'm VERY sure that she will not be wearing a dress or skirt or anything pink or with hearts or flowers or anything girly in any way for the foreseeable future. Big huge sigh . . .it is really a struggle sometimes to let her out in public the way she likes to dress, but at least she knows what she wants and likes and goes for it!

Anyways, Anna and Leah leave tomorrow and Darby and Trevor are going to be sad to see them go. . . me and Erich too but I think we can cope a little better. We've got school here tomorrow so that's good, it will keep them good and distracted. Other than that we are keeping a low profile this week because it's Spring Break. It has been beautiful out and we are so ready for Spring. Daylight Savings really makes it official . . . we have spring fever. So here are some pictures from our ski trip.
