What weekend?

Oh my goodness it does not seem like we just got to have a 3 day weekend! Usually you feel nice and rested and ready for your week after that but I do not this week. We had a really busy weekend. Saturday Trevor had gymnastics in the morning and then Darby and Erich went skiing for the day. Trevor and I got to hang out, which meant that I did housework and Trevor played with all of Darby's toys that she never lets him play with when she's home :) Then we all packed up and headed out to the hot springs and a greasy pizza joint with some friends, VERY enjoyable. The hot springs were crowded and the best part was definitely being outside in the warm pool and enjoying the stars and a cool brisk night. The pizza was awesome! I swear I could eat pizza everyday and not get bored, at, all!

Sunday, Erich had a basketball game and then him and Darby hit the Bobcat basketball game in the afternoon. Erich has yet to see them lose in person so he owes it to the team to make it to every game :) Then Erich and I dropped the kids at some friends and headed out for dinner and ice cream. It was very nice to have some time alone without the kids but always kind of shocking . . .what did we talk about before kids? You know, like in high school when we talked for hours on the phone at night . . .what could we have been babbling on about? Yesterday I spent the day getting ready for school, which is at our house this week and Erich took both the kids up skiing! That's right, BOTH the kids! It was great for me to be able to get all my shopping and cleaning done without having to worry about the kids but it would've been fun to have been skiing too.

Today we had school here and it went great! We took some recent pictures of the kids and they are just so funny! It's so great to see their little personalities maturing and see how far they've come in the last year. Anyways, the rest of the week consists of more school, gymnastics and hopefully getting outside for some fun in the sun! Here are some recent pictures because I feel weird just posting words :) Enjoy!
