I love Fall!

Hard to believe that September is already half over and I need to start thinking about Halloween costumes already! I should also probably start Christmas shopping . . .yikes! Well, fall is definitely upon us here in Bozeman, the leaves are changing, it's freezing in the morning and evening and school is in session. That includes school for Darby which starts tomorrow. We are doing the homeschool coop preschool and I am the teacher this week . . .I'm a little nervous. I just hope I can make it fun and exciting and educational for all the kids. If I get nervous I just have to remind myself that they are only 3, they won't judge my singing voice or my diction or my ability to make eye contact, I'm not performing on American Idol for heaven's sake. So school is on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-12:00 and we have a "school" potluck on Thursday night. Then to fill the rest of the week Darby starts Kindermusik today and gymnastics on Wednesday. It's a pack filled week, which is good to get us into a routine again.

Darby has been saying the she doesn't like Kindermusik and she doesn't want to go . . .sigh . . .as if she'd know. When I asked her if she wanted to do it she was so excited and then I guess it's probably just apprehension about something new that makes her want to just stay home. I can't really fault her that sometimes, I feel the same way. Hopefully she will love it! I think she will, she's constantly playing music all around the house and singing and dancing. Other news on Darby is that she has started her very own blog! She entitled it Shubble Shubble, don't ask me what that means :) She got her own F-P digital camera and we thought it would be cool to have a photo blog of her world so that's what it will be. She will take the pictures, she will pick them out, and I will type her commentary and post them.

Darby and Trevor seem to have just blossomed overnight into these amazing kids that know how to communicate and be almost totally independent. Trevor obviously still needs us for quite a bit but he really doesn't like to be helped at all. He doesn't like to hold hands, even for help out the door or over a small step. He will try just about anything all by himself and then ask for help if he absolutely can't do it, or just scream and cry really loud until we help him. Sorry to cut a thought short but I have to start getting ready to head out so I will update more later.
