It's the little things

Some days I just want to rip my hair out and scream at the top of my lungs because the kids just won't leave me and each other, and the dog, and the cat, alone. Today and yesterday were a couple of those days . . . but, I finally found a couple of things to keep them happy for a while and I didn't have to buy them crazy expensive toys or anything. Hangers, yep, Trevor's been playing with hangers, the kid ones, and is having a ball. And Darby, well, I'm letting her take a bath with her clothes on! It's the little things that make them happy and I just have to remember that, especially when I'm sucked into the marketing ploys of toy makers while walking the aisles of Target :)

Anyways, periodically I like to look back at pictures of Darby when she was Trevor's age and compare the two. Mostly in a good way but also in a way where I see where he's lacking in comparison to Darby. . .is that bad? the cause of sibling rivalry maybe? "Why can't you say 'duck' yet Trevor? Your sister could!" Hope you all know, I'm only kidding . . .Trevor still has like a month to learn how to say "duck" :) So I ran across these two movies that I made, one of Darby's first visit to Torch Lake and the other a video I made for my friend Heather. I enjoyed watching them again and I thought others might too. Here they are . . .they are kinda long so beware.
