So the trip went well, we had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa Rose and Darby didn't want to come home. Both the drive over and the drive back went great, as long as Trevor was sleeping. He however, does not like facing backwards when all the action is up front or on the DVD player. Even though he was fed, changed, and burped, he would still cry inconsolably until I held him. It was amazing how in an instant my attitude completely changed once Trevor started to fuss and I became totally impatient and irritated with Darby and Sierra and Trevor and other drivers and on and on . . .Darby tried to help, sweet girl. She would yell "It's okay Trev, we're almost home, I promise" over and over and over again. Wouldn't you know it, her yelling that at the top of her lungs did not help Trevor calm down :) Overall it went pretty good, I would do it again so I guess that says something.
We watched painfully as the Cougs fell to Auburn 40-14, yikes :) Darby cheered her little heart out and picked up some horrible game time language from Grandpa. After the first play of the game was a sack on Brink my dad said the s word and I think the f word. Needless to say there were many other bad play outbursts during the entire game. Erich had a great time in Auburn, even with the loss, he said the stadium was amazing and I think like over 85,000 people at the game! Crazy!
Trevor and I went up to a wedding on Lake Couer d'Alene. It was beautiful and so fun to see my friends Heather (the bride) and Karee. It was a beautiful setting, a beautiful ceremony and awesome food!
For the ride home my mom made these blow up pictures of me, Erich, and Darby that I could strap on the headrest for Trevor to look at. What a great idea, but I don't think they were of much comfort to him. I got weirded out everytime I'd look in the rearveiw and see my giant face smiling back at me. I know there was more that I wanted to say but I can't think of it now. There will definately be more to come.
