What an amazing year 2009 was, from the addition of Baby Brendan to the start of Kindergarten we haven't had many dull moments around here. Christmas was wonderful this year, no big fuss made, and just the 5 of us here at home. I didn't change out of my pjs all day and even took a wonderful 2 hour nap with B . . . .aaahhhh! We did some skiing, hanging with friends and had a great time. Santa was generous this year with a guitar for Darby (lessons starting soon), a helicopter for Trev, and a ball for Brendan!
So, another reason I want to blog more is because I really need to be recording the kids activities and behaviors somehow . . .I won't keep a baby book because all my writing muscles have disintegrated, I can only type now :) Today the kids built a fort out of our couch cushions downstairs. . . Erich has to watch football sitting on pillows alone :) . . .Brendan was unwelcome of course, as he is fast becoming the pesky little brother. It's mostly because he has the tenacity that only babies exhibit! He's going to to what he wants, when he wants, even if it's painful, even if he's not fully able, even if brother and sister will push him away, he will scream and scream!! I will be happy when my days are not filled with screaming and crying. . . when exactly will that be? Soon it will be my crying because the kids don't want to play with me anymore and I'm just not cool :)
Anyways, hope the new year is starting off great for everyone else out there. We had a great, relaxing day and start ski lessons tomorrow! I'll sign off with some pictures of the last month or so.
