Craziness!

My life right now seems to be shear craziness! I can't seem to catch my breath or catch up on everything that I would like to be doing. We take off for 2 weeks on Friday and that includes 4000 traveling miles . . .so the organization is a nightmare. Especially for an organizationally challenged person like myself. We're trying to get all sorts of things done around here too. . .new garage doors, new handles for the doors, new locks, packing, cleaning, the list goes on.

So Darby's in gymnastics camp this week, 9-12 everyday. . . so that's kind of nice, it gets me out of the house early and with only one kid so I can try to get lots of things done. Trevor and I went on a hike today while she was there and that was really fun! The kids are a joy (on a whole :) not specifically every moment) as always. Trevor is starting to change his voice at times to be deep and gravelly when he talks, kinda like a pirate, argh! pretty funny. And he's a true 2 year old and has all the toddler rules down pat, meaning, "everything is mine!" He even likes to cuddle and say "my mommy" or "my daddy" and even "my Darby." This morning he woke up and gave her a hug and said "love you Darby." Sigh, I live for those moments . . .it makes the bad times totally worth it.

Darby has been enjoying playing a guessing game at every meal, "How bout we play that game?" We all think of an animal and give hints as to what it is and everyone guesses. She is really good at it and can guess really obscure animals. Trevor also likes to have a turn he says, "um, manimal, has, CAT!" He'll catch on soon with all the practice he's getting playing with Darby. Anyways, I'll try to post our adventures on the road. I'm actually looking forward to the challenge and hope that we are all up for it :) Sierra is coming too, adding another factor, yikes, what are we thinking?
