So the school year is officially o-v-e-r! Yeah! We had a great "graduation" today, the weather was great, the kids were great! It was awesome! Before the graduation it was another thing all together . . .sigh. . .I was not the best mom I could be today. Why? Well, it could have had something to do with the fact that I went out last night and got home late, didn't get much sleep, and hadn't prepared properly for the potluck stuff today. That meant that all day I was a totally impatient with both my kids and Erich. There were actually super well behaved (even Erich) until I couldn't even give my daughter the time of day when she just wanted me to set her up with some paints . . .oh heavens, then she decided to do something really fun to get my attention, throw a gi-normous tantrum for about 30 minutes. Doesn't it always work like that? If only I'd just set everything down for 5 minutes and helped her out I could've saved 25 . . .I think that was even a lesson Darby had to learn today too. Sometimes we just make things really hard on ourselves. So to Erich, Darby and Trevor, I apologize for my own tantrum-like behavior today, I truly have no excuse.

But the day ended well and everyone is now sleeping peacefully. Here is a video of the graduation program, mostly geared toward the grandparent audience as it is quite long so all others be warned :) But I hope the grandparents enjoy it, we wish you guys could've been here with us!
