April showers brings . . .

pink eye?!? Well, to this family it has. The flowers are starting to bloom too but kinda hard to see through red, goopy eyes. It's pretty much made the rounds here but hasn't been horrible. Darby and Trevor had so much fun with their dad this past weekend that they were pretty worn out at the beginning of the week. I think they got LOTS and LOTS of treats too, ice cream, brownies, pizza . . .I'm sure they would love for me to leave again :)

I had a great time in Sacramento! It was great to meet Madison and see H and J in their new roles as mom and dad. . .it's amazing how having kids changes things, I think now Heather isn't so bored when I start talking about breastfeeding and poopy diapers :) She is the sweetest and most beautiful little baby girl and the new mom and dad are doing a great job! It was really fun but I am always surprised at how much I miss Darby and Trevor. Some days all I wish for is a solid 10 minutes away from them but while I was gone I wished I could see their little faces light up in the morning when we first see each other or get their big hugs and sloppy kisses. Erich did an amazing job and I think he had a good time. A good time, minus some pink eye and puking on Thursday night :)

This week we've had the last of Kindermusik and swim lessons and we're into the last 4 weeks of school! Hard to believe but I am definitely ready to have some openness to our schedule again. So we can go to the park and I can get some things done around here. Anyways, here's a couple of pictures of the beautiful Madison! The hat is my first attempt at crocheting and I think it turned out pretty good. She probably won't get much use out of it because she does live in California after all but she looked so cute in it.

This is a picture of Darby swimming in the pool all by herself. I can hardly get her to come up for air the little fish! She had a great time and we'll sign her up for more soon so she can continue to learn. . .
