2 down, 2 to go

So Darby and Trevor are officially "better" (knock on wood). Although there is some lingering runnage and coughing with Darby they are acting their normal, angelic selves :) I am doing okay but this week has not been fun. This cold is lingering and although I'm sleeping so much better, so therefore feeling much better, I'm still trying to kick this thing. Erich, too, is feeling a little under the weather. I blame his job as he has been burning the midnight oil and not getting much sleep, that never helps. The thing that I'm most looking forward to is being able to taste food again :) Everything, even the food I know tastes good, like cheeseburgers or pizza, is so bland with a head cold.

Last week the kids had a normal week, which was so nice for them. Darby had a friend come over on Thursday afternoon and on Monday she was already asking when she was coming over. "Is Clair coming over tomorrow mom? The next day? When is she coming mom? Today? How many more nights?" I think she is over spending time with me in this house all alone. This morning we went to the kid's symphony that the Bozeman Symphony puts on every year. It was really cool! It was all about Space and had the Star Trek theme, Star Wars, E.T. . . .it was great. There was also an astronaut there that lives here in Bozeman, Loren Acton who was a part of a Challenger mission in 1985 who gave a little talk to music. It was great! And they also had an "instrument petting zoo" where the kids got to play all sorts of instruments.

After a nice long nap for me this afternoon I'm feeling a little better and I have reached the worst part of my day . . .the decide what's for dinner part, ugh. This is why I need to have a dinner plan set out but with the last two weeks being illness ridden I haven't been much of a planner. Better get to it! Here are some pictures from today
