Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Holy Moly! What a week it's been! We had a lot of fun this week making presents for our friends, making gingerbread houses to sell and getting ready for our Christmas party today. It was such a great time . . .the kids prepared 3 Christmas songs to perform for everyone and then they got a personal visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Santa was awesome! He hung out for a couple of hours and the kids got little gifts from him. It was really cute. Darby was being a little stinker though, she told Santa in a letter and just today that she wanted a blue and white striped shirt for Christmas and when she opened her penguin puppet she looked at it with a frown on her face and said "this isn't a blue and white striped shirt" . . . a little ungrateful miss Darby! So we are deciding how to make her realize that is NOT an okay way to react to any present given, whether she wanted it or not . . .kinda challenging. But overall the kids did so great, no fighting or screaming or anything. They all sang the songs and had a great time! Trevor wasn't so sure of Santa but I think he had a good time with all the older kids and his friend Nathan. He didn't get a nap but for 30 minutes before we got there so he did exceptionally well considering. Anyways, here are a few pictures from our day!
