A grasshopper walks into a bar . . .

And the bartender says, "We have a drink here named after you." And the grasshopper says, "You have a drink here named Steve?" LOL

One of Darby's friends told me that joke, he's 3! Hilarious! It was one of those things where I thought, man, I gotta start teaching Darby to tell jokes :) Anyways, I couldn't think of a good title for this post so I thought I'd lead with a joke.

We have had a crazy week and we finally had a pretty normal day today. Last week after my friends left I got the stomach flu which is so not fun on it's own but throw in 2 kids and a houseload of stuff to do on top of no sleep and it is really not fun. Luckily everyone else was saved from it and Erich was so helpful. He had to stay home from work on Wednesday morning and got to hang with the kids a lot!

Then this weekend I had a continuing education course that I had to go to to maintain my licensure, so Erich was with the kids all day on Saturday and Sunday. Poor guy couldn't catch a break on Saturday! It snowed overnight with a couple of inches on the ground and the power went out in the morning and since we have internet phone and I had the cell phone he couldn't call out to anyone! But Erich wasn't worried about the kids freezing in the house with no heat, or the food all going bad in the frig, he was worried that he wasn't going to get to watch the Coug game :) Too funny. I came home from lunch and he was pissed and I felt kinda bad leaving him with the 2 kids for the rest of the day but right before I left the power came back on and he was a new person. Thank god it did come back on or he would've been hauling our 1 and 3 year old to the bar to watch the game . . .hmmm a couple pints of whole milk and the kids would've been great :)

We have a couple of days here and then the 2 grandmas and grandpa will be here. Anna is coming to help Erich this weekend while me and my mom head to Boston for the Hartford, CT half-marathon with my sister Kathy. It should be really fun but I'm not quite sure if I'm going to be able to run this one . . .I tried running 4 miles this morning and was totally huffin and puffin. Taking a week off for the flu was not good for my training :) It will be a lot of fun but since I'm still nursing Trevor it won't be total bliss, I'll have to pump which will suck and I'm not ready to be done with it. I'm always worried when I leave that Trevor won't want to nurse when I get back :( I guess if he is, I'll learn to accept that my boobs, are again, just for looks :) Anyways, here's a couple of pics from the past weekend.

Just waking up :) Don't take my picture mom!!
