So gymnastics was much, much, much better today. I was a little worried this morning when Darby said she didn't want to go and that she'd rather run errands with me, like go to Albertson's! She actually said that! Well, I just kind of pretended I didn't hear her and off we went, with success. She dove right in today and had a great time. I came home with Trevor, worked out and then hit the grocery store before going back to pick her up. That was the end of my good day. . . my poor kids :( I'll have to go back and look but isn't this a monthly thing? I think I've blogged this before . . . hmmmm. Well, whatever it is struck again and my patience level is nil and rage level is high! There were some points during my day when I could actually see outside myself and say "what the hell are you doing?" Rage, yelling, and getting impatient with kids NEVER, and I mean NEVER, make things better, in fact it ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS makes it worse. But sometimes I just couldn't stop myself. I told Darby about 10 times today that I was sorry for being such an impatient pill. I think this smoke is rattling my brain a little . . . yeah, yeah, excuses.
On a positive note, funny thing about Darby is that she is calling moles, nipples! I have a lot of moles and have a few on my face and today in the bathroom she said, "maybe when I get older I can have nipples on my face too!" I almost peed my pants. I'll leave on that happy note and pray for rain and some smoke free skies tomorrow (literally and figuratively).
