Ahhh Vacation

So we're still here at home until Tuesday but today was Erich's last day of work before a two week vacation. I think he must feel pretty good about that :) We celebrated this evening by heading to a mexican restaurant and then ice cream. Yeah, ice cream before bedtime, what a great idea . . .it took at least an hour to get Trevor to sleep. The restaurant was great and we sat outside while Darby flirted with the college boys sitting at the stop light. She got a couple to wave but wasn't able to get a couple of tough hunters to crack a smile. Anyways, the ice cream did put Erich to sleep, he was laying with Darby before bed and crashed. I just tried to wake him up and he was totally confused, you know in a total awake coma. He'll just stay asleep for a little while and then be up until 4 in the morning or something like that, he's got such a terrible schedule these days.

Anyways, the kids and I had a pretty productive day. I started the day making some phone calls to prepare for traveling and that included a call to the TSA to see about getting through security with our double stroller. I was just wondering if the stroller had to be able to fit on the belt for the x-ray machine to get it through security. They told me it was at the discretion of the individual airport or TSA agent! So NOT helpful! We did not have a good experience with the TSA here in Bozeman the last time we traveled and I do not have a good feeling about the whole thing. It will just depend on the day and if we get a s@$thead or not, very frustrating. Anyways, then I was checking about travel for Darby and realized that I needed some form of ID for her so it was off to the courthouse to finally pick up the kids birth certificates . . .yeah, I'm lazy, 3 years later. We made a trip to Costco too to purchase a new digital camera! It's a digital SLR and is totally awesome! I've just taken a couple of pictures on the automatic mode so they're not spectacular or anything but I can totally tell a difference . . .can you?

They just seem clearer and more colorful . . .anyways, I'm excited to experiment with it this weekend. I have some cleaning, packing, and organizing things to do before we head off . . .I swear it takes a full week to plan for traveling with 2 kids, hopefully it will pay off with smooth sailing. Anyways, the Cougs play Wisconsin tomorrow, Erich's parents will be at the game in Madison . . .Go Cougs!!! Here's hoping it's a good game :)
