You know, sometimes, I just can't seem to get in the blogging mood . . . I know I have lots to say but every time I sit down to write I can't get it to come out right. So before I head to bed tonight I thought I'd give it a try. We had a pretty fun week and it just flew by! I really don't know where our time goes. . .heaven knows I'm not constantly doing productive things so the days go by really fast :) Anyways, Trevor is no longer a baby :( I just can't believe how big he's getting and not just size wise either. He's his own little man! He now has signs for "more" "all done" "book" and "nurse." He says "mama" "dada" "ball" "bro" (those last two sound amazingly the same, but of course we know what he means:) ) and "no." That's right, no! I say this now, but will probably change my mind later, but it is the cutest thing ever! Trevor has learned to say no from Darby and he yells it at her and even gets his body into it, "nnnooo!" Darby then gets in on it and they scream at each other and giggle for a while. . . I'll have to put the ka-bash on that which the giggling stops.
We went for a hike on Friday with some friends and had so much fun! Darby did so great! She hiked the whole 2 miles all by herself! It was fun seeing the kids just running off ahead, here's a picture of them running away from us :)
Today was an interesting day, quite productive but we had another bloody incident with Trevor. I hate to say, that I really have no idea what happened but Darby gave me a brief account. I usually let them play by themselves in their rooms and they're usually great but Darby has been a little stinker lately and really pushing Trevor around. So I was in the kitchen putting groceries away when I hear Trevor crying and Darby holding him hostage in her room. I thought he was just pissed about being locked in her room but then I see the bloody mess in his mouth! Darby said she pushed him and he must've hit his chin pretty hard or hit his mouth on something because he cut up his gums pretty good. I called a dentist just to see if we needed to make an "emergency" dental visit and he assured me it would have to be pretty bad to need that. So. . .of course Trevor is just fine, it looks nasty but he could care less. I'm more traumatized than he is for sure :)
So I'm no longer doing the marathon relay in June, it fell through because Erich will be gone until 11:00 pm the night before the race and I'd have to be on a bus, in Helena, at 5:00 am, so I'll have to come up with something else. I'm thinking I'll just have to do a 1/2 marathon in September to make up for it. I was thinking today as I ran my 6.6 mile loop, that to make a 1/2 marathon, I'd have to do my loop twice! Yikes! I think I'll have to work up to that :)
Darby's been a crazy story teller lately, she is being very imaginative and creative with it too, so cute to see. She invited me into her bedroom today to her playground, called the "outside, for my friends" playground with a place for running, jumping, kitchens, dancing, movies and all sorts of fun stuff! The kids are so fun, it makes me feel so lucky everyday to have two happy, healthy kids! Here's picture of them enjoying each other in Darby's bed this morning.

And finally here's a cute picture of Trevor, he's got a little something on his face . . .he's trying to get it off :)
