Yes, that's my child

Yes, that's my child screaming at the top of her lungs and throwing the tantrum of all tantrums! Imagine me with my sheepish, embarrassed mother face . . . Maybe it's because she's been sick but Darby has been a bear in public lately. We went swimming on Saturday with everyone and I had to force her out of the pool and into her clothes and into the car and she was screaming and crying at the top of her lungs the whole time!!! I can understand wanting to spank your children because I had some major rage building up inside . . . luckily I was able to control myself and tried to ignore it as much as possible. Then today she threw another tantrum when I tried to get her to put her coat on after shopping at Michael's. Is it just her age? her cold? our parenting? the universe? I'm putting it on the universe, it has something against me right now . . .it couldn't be me or Erich, we are the picture of perfection in parenting. . .yea right :) . . .I'm hoping consistency and taking away privileges will nip this whole thing in the bud, I'll keep you posted :)
