Sappy

I am feeling all sorts of sappy today. I just can't seem to hug and kiss Darby and Trevor enough! Everything they do is cute and I just wish I could bottle this feeling and take it out whenever I have weeks like last week :) Everyone is doing well, nothing much to report . . .Darby got a new kitchen to play with and loves it! She gets to make all sorts of stuff in it. . .eggs, hot dogs, french fries. It's really fun to see how her mind works when she plays alone. She'll play for awhile and I'll go in her room and she will have organized everything in a certain way, have her cups all lined up for her friends. It's just amazing, the imagination they have and that she can entertain herself for hours with just that. When do we lose that? Well, some people don't I guess, but my imagination seems to need some reviving . . .Darby is good for that :)

I don't know if I would say that Trevor is crawling so much as propelling himself forward but he is moving a lot! I think we'll have to put up the kid gate over the stairs this weekend. He is still the same old Trevor, motor boatin, smiling, grunting, giggling Trevor. I swear if ever there was a sound to replicate in this world over and over it would be an infant/child's giggle, it is just precious and can make my day. I have only felt that way about one other person's laugh, Jon Gustavson :) Some may know who I'm talking about but he had the most infectious laugh, I wish I had it on tape.

Erich's big 3-0 is next week so we are celebrating it this weekend. Should be fun and Erich's lucky I'm not pulling out the surprise, your over the hill, party :) Just a few friends and Go-Carts . . .lots of fun. I can't believe we're closing in on Thanksgiving, I haven't even thought about Christmas shopping . . .better get on that, it'll be here before we know it, aahhhh the Holidays :)
