"Whatever Dad"

I thought Darby would be a little older, like 13 before she started uttering this phrase . . ."whatever." Erich was asking her to do something for him and she just said "whatever" as her response . . .not in a super sassy tone which is good but it still does not bode well for us and future teenage angst.

Well, we are officially on our own again. Anna and Rich left this morning, it was tough for us all to see them go as they have been a great help. It's always nice to get back into a little more of a routine and we're all pretty exhausted. The boys + Darby got a nice break yesterday afternoon to watch the Seahawks game. Darby was pretty cute watching the game, clapping, saying "great job guys" over and over. She is now watching Monday Night Football and keeps saying "oh no." She must be cheering for Atlanta.

Darby also did great this morning at the Dentist. We have been going because she has had cavities on her front four teeth since she was 21 months old. They're not that big so we're just putting fluoride covering on them to prevent them from getting worse every 3 months. But today was her first official cleaning. She did great, some crying but overall she was quite the trooper.

Trevor was just as pleasant as can be at the dentist, at playgroup, all day . . .he's just so mellow and happy wherever he is. He's rolling all over the place now and even trying to army crawl. He could wait a little longer to get mobile in my opinion. I'm not quite ready to chase him yet :) So there's the update on us, still lots of work left to do on the house, slow but sure. Pictures to come soon.
