Things have been going pretty well here. Rich and Erich are progressing nicely with the work on the rooms upstairs. I think all we have to do is paint tomorrow and we're done except for minor details like trim and the entire master bathroom and new carpet and refinishing the dining room floor and on and on . . .does it ever end? Not for us in this house at least. We are so ready to be moving back upstairs to our old room. We will finally be moving Darby into her own room and using her crib for Trevor. Trevor is already too big for the little co-sleeper. It will be SO nice to get settled into a normal routine with the kids. Darby likes to crawl into our bed in the middle of the night and warm her feet by sticking them in Erich's face, under his legs, anywhere annoying. She's probably just getting back at him for all of the Dutch Ovens he pulls. We have been really busy this week doing all sorts of fun stuff, hitting the hot springs, going to gymnastics, and attending a native american presentation at MSU. Most of the week it's been rainy and cold but it warmed up today and we had gorgeous blue skies. Both Darby and Trevor are doing great, growing up so fast . . .Trevor has his 4 month appointment next Friday, crazy. Here are some fun Darby-isms as of late . . .
She has been saying "hey guys" when she walks into a room, so cute. Her hide and seek consists of grandma counting in her bedroom, Darby hiding in the same, very obvious spot and saying "I'm right here guys!" And she's our little polite policeman. . ."you farted, you say excuse me" and "you say thank you." I'm glad she's on our case :) Love this language, personality development. She doesn't miss a trick.
What did I ever talk about before kids?. . .it's like with Erich, what did he ever do with his free time before Fantasy Football? Go Big Sky!
