PIcture Day

We got some pictures taken of Trevor and Darby today . . . we decided to go with this really great guy, Jay Thane of Blue Sky Photography. We are going to get pictures of Trevor at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months like we did with Darby but hopefully for a lot less money and definately some cooler photos. First of all, I can't believe that Trevor is 3 months old!!!! Where has the time gone? and why can't I fit into all my old clothes yet? okay fit comfortably into my old clothes? Anyways we went to Cooper park and Trevor did awesome. Darby as always hammed it up. Then when we came home she wasn't ready to stop so I got this picture . . .she likes the telephone book, not sure if that's a good thing or not. Maybe she'll be a number man like her Daddy :)

She does like to color in about everything and has formed interesting attachments to certain colors of crayons. She picks different ones each day, maybe to fit her mood? Today is green. Some kids have binkies and blankies, my daughter has notebooks and crayons.

Trevor is doing great and still doing more of the same . . .rolling over, sitting up, and standing (with support obviously). It's fun to see him finally get fatigued after standing, it's like those crumple toys where you push with your thumbs and the thing just collapses. Darby is verbalizing like a normal person now with just a few jumbles and inappropriate word usage. For example she likes to say that things are too loud when they are too long, short, tight, or just don't fit right. The other day she said, while she was crying and screaming about it, "my socks are too loud!" Those loud socks are really tough to take :)
