It has been a long time since I've posted but I think that is going to be the story of my life for a while, at least until things calm down a little bit. It has been a fun but full fall. We have new flooring, new motivation to finish our master bathroom, a new roof . . .we're ready for winter. Last week was the week of houseguests. Anna and Rich stopped by on their way back to Michigan and then we had a great visit with Earl, Meghan and Logan Eastman. We had a lot of fun, enjoying the last of the nice weather I guess. We hit Ted's Grill, a nice hike, Chico Hot Springs and Erich and Earl even got to the Bozeman Brewing Co.
Saturday Erich had to leave for the RightNow User's Conference so we all just pretty much hung out. I made a quick presentation for the Montana Childbirth Collective and we also hit a birthday party that day. It was a pretty crazy but fun week. When the Eastman's left on Sunday the kids and I decided we would go see the #1 movie in America (I can't believe that), Beverly Hills Chiuahua. It was that or Igor and I thought the kids would enjoy talking dogs more than scary scientists. They were so excited and Trevor kept calling it the "chicka-wa-wa" movie. Pretty entertaining overall.
Erich was gone pretty much until Thursday this week so the kids and I kept busy with dates out and in. It's nice to have him home but it is short lived as he is leaving AGAIN on Sunday for 2 days. Oh well, I guess he never really travels, but man I hate it when he's gone. Don't judge me, but a few times this week I have wanted to either physically shake or spank my kids . . .they were trying my last nerve for the last 2 days before Erich came home.
Last night I took Darby to her first Broadway show! It was super fun! This season of Broadway in Bozeman is really kid friendly. Last night was Oliver! and there's also Annie, and Hairspray. I'm hoping to take her to both but at least one more. She was definitely tired after but totally worth it.
This weekend is Homecoming here at MSU and so we'll hit the game tomorrow, hopefully the whole game as it is supposed to snow, blow and be SUPER cold. We'll see how long we make it. Then next week we have school here at our house, have some field trips to the Museum of the Rockies and Rocky Creek Farm lined up. Then I'm off to Denver for my girl weekend which will be an awesome break for me! I'm going to cheer on my sisters, mom and aunt in the Denver half-marathon :)
Anyways, here are some pictures from our fall, sorry I've been terrible about posting, maybe after next weekend I'll get my life under control a little bit and post some more fun stuff.
