I wish I was good at April Fools! I'm looking forward to getting Erich good in years to come with the kids input but not this year, not quite up to the task and I'm not sure Darby quite understands the pranking thing . . .kind of like she doesn't understand sarcasm, it just seems mean to her. LIke when I call Erich a "stupid idiot" she really thinks I think he's a stupid idiot . . .which I don't . . .most of the time :) Anyways, we've had a great weekend and we're heading into a busy few weeks. We went skiing this morning, Bridger even had 4 inches of new snow! And it wasn't so cold so we all got out there, including Trevor. I think the Ergo baby carrier was just too comfortable for him so he enjoyed a couple of runs but promptly fell asleep. Darby is now ready to tackle the slopes by herself I think and in real boots and skis. She did awesome! She was skiing for long periods by herself down the hill but really liked to lean backwards :) That's where those uncomfortable ski boots come in handy, they force you to lean forward. We're skiing next weekend down at Big Sky so maybe we'll try it then.

We're all pretty tired right now, mostly me and Erich from the 3 hours of getting ready, carrying all the gear and then unloading when we got home. It's about a 3 to 2 ratio, 3 hours of prep for 2 hours of fun . . .not terrible :)
This week we are starting a preschool of sorts for Darby . . .not sending her to preschool but doing a sort of co-op with a few other stay at home moms. I'm really excited about it and this month we're just doing playdates two days a week but we'll be starting lessons soon :) Then the real work starts . . .
Well, Happy April everyone!
