Oh, we are in the throws of yet another illness and this one is producing a butt load of snot . . .yuck! It's no wonder kids spread disease like crazy, Darby will wipe her nose with her hand and then wipe it all over the doorknob, the dresser, Trevor's sippy cup, my face, wherever :) I keep trying to catch it with a tissue first but alas, it does not work. So, who wants to hear more about snot?
Nothing new going on here. I feel really busy for some reason but I don't know what I'm busy with . . .sometimes just thinking about how busy you are makes you feel like you're busy, you know?
I'm starting to get really excited about my first weekend alone coming up in about a month. That's right, I said alone, that means no Darby, no Trevor, no Erich. I'm headed to Sacramento for my best friend's bachelorette party! I will go with mixed feelings of course. Trevor still nurses like crazy so I'll have to pump while I'm away. Thank god someone loaned me a non-electric one, it's a little embarrassing to have the "wee-uh-wee-uh-wee-uh" sound of the electric motor in a ladies room, especially at all the classy joints we will be frequenting :) Anyways, it will be so hard to leave them, even though I wish daily for time to myself, I will feel like I've lost a limb. That will include phantom limb sensations such as shrieks and demands from imaginary kids I'm sure, and I'll still wake up every hour just to make sure someone is still breathing :) Well, I guess that's enough on me for now . . . oh and don't be worried about Erich alone for 3 days with 2 kids, yikes, his parents are coming to help out. I will rest easier knowing that the kids have to get through 3 adults before the you know what (I did have the s--t word, but Erich was appalled) really hits the fan rather than just 1 :)
