Home Sweet Home

Well Trevor and I made it home! We had a great trip but it was busy and flew by so fast! Since we left at 6:00 on Saturday morning, I got up at 3:30 and wouldn't you know it Trevor got up too, stinker. So I thought for sure he would sleep on the plane no problemo, but oh no, not Trevor, he was wide . . .a . . .wake. He did just fine on all the flights but it was definately more challenging than with Darby. Darby would nurse anytime, anywhere and would just fall asleep, happy as a clam. Trevor is offended if you offer to feed him and he's not hungry so it took a little more doing to get him to sleep and help his ears.

Sacramento was super fun, I got to try on bridesmaids dresses and see Heather in her wedding dress, she looked so beautiful :) Trevor liked the sunshine and the warm weather and was a champ the whole time. He got to meet Heather's parents and was shuttled all around without so much as a peep.

We are excited to be home and I missed Darby way more than I probably should have. She was crying when they dropped us off at the airport and I almost started crying too. . .what am I'm going to do when she goes off to school? Erich said she did great all weekend and enjoyed a rainy football game, a birthday party, a Cougar football win, pizza twice, and some playtime with her friend Emma. When I called them on Sunday Darby heard Trevor in the backround and said "Hi Trev, he's talking to me." I think she missed her little brother, how long will that last? She has been less than helpful however since it's been just the 3 of us. Tears over shoes and which clothes to wear, not wanting to brush her teeth, and all sorts of things. Ah, home, sweet home.
