Darby has picked up a very annoying habit . . .she says "What'd you say mama?" about 10 times in a row if I say anything not directly to her. I think she got it from me because sometimes it's tough to figure out what she's saying so I ask "What did you say Darby?" I have to just ignore it because if I answer her she'll just ask the same question again and again and again and . . . you get the picture.
She's saying the cutest things lately and grasping lots of concepts that you just wouldn't think she would get. For example, today she said to me "dadda and Trevor have penis" and I told her that's right and asked her if she knew what mama and Darby have and she said "fun!" I guess they learn it early . . .girls just want to have fun and they do!
I swear that Trevor said Hi today . . . I need "Big Brother" cameras stationed around the house so I can go back and view a replay. That would be great wouldn't it? So many cute things happen spontaneously everyday but by the time I grab the camera, it's over. So then I just have to "stage" the cute moment and that just never turns out the same. Anyways, he just talks and communicates so much it's great. Also he sat up for the first time today all on his own, for like 10 seconds! He loves looking at Darby so I just stationed her in front of him and sat him up, he stared at her for those 10 seconds and them promptly folded in half :)
Where does the time go? I can't believe how big both kids have gotten. The amazing part is that I haven't aged a day! Right?
