My Screaming Child

Darby has now reached a phase in her life where she screams and cries about everything!!!! Right now, in the process of getting ready to go to the park, she has screamed about not wanting to go to the park, a huge T-shirt being too tight, putting on her tennis shoes, taking off the same tennis shoes, putting them back on, and now she's screaming about wanting to go to the park . . . hmmmm how can I win today? She is now able to talk about her emotions too, so when she does cry she says "I'm sad." It shouldn't be comical but I find myself having a hard time not laughing . . .life is tough for a two year old. But I guess we're not going to the park, maybe it's naptime already, yea right :)
